Jordan Dean

1:40PM - 2:00PM Sunday, July 13 Sandbar Stage

Born in Kamloops, BC, Jordan has made a name for himself as a professional musician around the Okanagan valley, opening for various artists including Tim Hicks, Chad Brownlee, Jamie Stever and more. Jordan has been playing guitar since the age of 12, and has written a solid campaign of original material, with the creative process of songwriting being a constant draw to come up with new songs. A few years in the entertainment business has brought his stage presence to be a strong suit, blending a mix of traditional country with blues and rock. Jordan plans to move to Nashville, Tennessee to further extend his songwriting and performing career in the fall of 2014, with help of a rapidly growing local and distant fan base. A student under the wing of locally praised Professional Vocal Instructor Barbara Samuel, Jordan plans to record an EP before moving out of the country. Jordan will be performing at the BMO Center for the 2014 Calgary Stampede on Sunday, July 6th.
